Pamela Pilch lives in Short Pump, VA and is the mother of three boys, two of whom were born at home. She has been an accredited La Leche League Leader for over 16 years and was a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator for 13; she provides lactation support, childbirth education, and basic natural family planning instruction to our clients and the community. She is the facilitator of our Saturday Breastfeeding Group.
Pam apprenticed for two years with Williamsburg Homebirth and is working toward completing her CPM credential with the midwives at Tree of Life Midwifery and Birth Center. Pam is also a birth rights lawyer, active with the Birth Rights Bar Association. Outside of birth work, Pam teaches voice and piano, and studies ethnomusicology, with a special interest in research related to singing in birthing and midwifery communities.”
