Beverley is British born and has been in the USA since 1978. Beverley became a doula in 2013. She enjoys the birthing process – as baby is born, so are the parents. A family is created.
Beverley’s love of babies goes back to her initial career as a British Norland Nanny . She has also cared for about 100 foster babies, toddlers and preschoolers in her home. Beverley is trained and certified in CPR and NRP, and by DONA, NHTSA, ProDoula and SBD. As a doula with Tree of Life Midwifery, she will be working as a birth, postpartum and bereavement doula. As a certified car seat technician, she will be available to check car seat installations and baby’s fit in the car seat.
Beverley lives with her husband, Jim and has been a Fredericksburg area resident since moving here from Dale City in 1987. They have 5 children and 4 grandchildren. She enjoys knitting, sewing and spending time with family, principally the grandchildren. And, she likes chocolate!
